The Moscow Cricket Federation has launched an online academy.

Anyone interested can take training courses and qualify as a professional umpire in Russia.

To do so, you must complete the «Umpiring 1.0» course, after which you will automatically be awarded the «Trainee Umpire» qualification. Higher-level qualifications are awarded by the Department of Sport and the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation.

Once you have gained practical experience, you will be invited to appear before a committee for the awarding of official umpire categories.
